The EXTRICATOR® RS-6 Aircraft Rescue Equipment set provides 10 tons of spreading capacity in a self-contained aircraft rescue equipment set. It uses large amounts of spreading and pushing power in confined spaces without external power sources. The new high-pressure, high-efficiency, dual-speed hand-operated hydraulic pumps generate up to 10,000 PSI of hydraulic pressure.
The “BOSS”™ hydraulic rescue spreader has jaws that are ¾ " thick when closed and a sizeable 11-square-inch pushing surface. It exerts up to 12,000 pounds of force at the closed tips to move or lift metal or objects, obstruct access, or move or open collapsed metal or structures. The applied force increases as the tips open.
With this set, you facilitate fast and efficient rescue operations by pushing or spreading entrapping materials. This set includes a 10-ton straight hydraulic ram with a 6-inch stroke and a separate manual pump and attachments, an air-cutting gun with three types of chisels, and an assortment of hand tools. The 10-ton hydraulic ram has 5-inch, 10-inch, 18-inch, and 30-inch extension tubes for the attachments to provide powerful pushing and spreading force application where needed.
The two H-1T-10 pumps in the set allow the rescue professional to rapidly operate the "BOSS" spreader and the 10-ton ram without needing external power sources.
The H-1T-10 pumps utilize an internal pressure relief valve to provide overload protection and compliance.
The H-1T-10 pumps have a new dual-speed, high-flow design. A convenient carrying handle for a more extensive hydraulic fluid reservoir with the fill port located on top of the reservoir under the carrying handle. A sizeable hydraulic fluid control valve designed for easy operation while wearing gloves is situated on the side of the pump. The more extended pump handle with ergonomic grip and internal pressure relief valve complying with ANSI/ASME safety standards have been incorporated into the design to increase operation speed and reduce pumping f by the operator.
For applications with corrosion or weight considerations, the optional Model H-2T-A-10 aluminum pump provides similar performance, size, speed, and features while weighing in at a mere 9 lbs. is available.

AIR CHISEL
The AIR CUTTING GUN™ SET, MODEL C-10, is the "original" air chisel designed for rescue and is included in this aircraft rescue set to provide easy, rapid cutting of sheet metal, aluminum, and steel plates up to ¼” thick. The C-10 Air Cutting Gun may be operated from any SCBA air cylinder from 2250 P.S.I to 6000 P.S.I. or other air cylinder equipped with a CGA valve without the need to adjust the regulator. The C-10A Model number designates the additional chisels provided with this aircraft rescue set.

RESCUE BLANKET
The Aluminized Rescue Blanket™, Model M-1, is the "original" heavy-duty, reusable, aluminum rescue blanket. The M-1 Aluminized Rescue Blanket is Made in America and is constructed of the finest heavy-duty aluminum-infused rip-stop 8.5 oz. Para-aramid fabric is used to build the rescue blanket.
The M-1 Aluminum Rescue Blanket is designed to provide years of reliable service. Its large 72” x 80” (182 cm x 203 cm) size will completely cover a victim. Custom-sized blankets are available upon request.
The aluminum-infused fabric can’t be beaten for its heat reflection in a flash fire. Glass shards, chips, saw sparks, and debris are repelled by the heavy-duty aluminum-infused fire-resistant rip-stop para-aramid fabric.

FUEL LINE PLUG SET
The FUEL LINE PLUG SET™, Model F-2, consists of ten soft and hardwood plugs supplied in assorted sizes ranging from 1/8” to 1½” in diameter.
The set provides the equipment needed to completely seal broken fuel or hydraulic lines, leaking pipes, and holes in tanks ranging in size from 1/8" to 1-1/2" in diameter. These plugs provide an inexpensive, safe, non-sparking, environmentally responsible way to temporarily plug leaking fuel lines, hydraulic lines, and holes in tanks, drums, or pipes.
Plugging the leak by driving the plug into the leaking fuel, hydraulic line, pipe, or hole. After the leak is stopped, the system can be safely drained at a control valve.
In emergency situations, stopping the flow of the leak dramatically reduces the danger to rescuers and victims and the likelihood of fire, explosion, pollution, chemical exposure hazards, and slip-and-fall hazards associated with leaking fuel tanks, hydraulic lines, fuel lines, chemical lines, and leaking fuel or chemical drums. Stopping the leak also reduces cleanup and remediation time and costs.

HAND TOOL SET
This set includes hand tools such as locking pliers, wire cutters, hammers, metal shears, Phillips and slot-tipped screwdrivers, a cold chisel, a pry bar, a hack saw with spare blades, and an axe.
The Survival Axe ® is designed to chop wood, composite materials, and metal. It incorporates a seat-belt cutter, glass breaker, spanner wrench, replaceable saw blade, hammer, prying tool, and eleven hex sockets. The tool assortment exceeds the requirements of FAA Circular 150/5210-14B. These tools provide rescue personnel with the most frequently needed, American-made rescue from an aircraft, vehicle, or other entrapment or structural collapse situation.

All pumps, hoses, and rams, are filled with mineral oil, purged of air and subject to a proof test at a minimum of 1½ times the working capacity of the tool prior to shipment.
Note: Additional tools such as an additional pump, hand tools, Come-A-Long, Rescue Chains or Hand Tools may be added to this set to meet individual customer requirements.
The EXTRICATOR® RS-6, SPECIAL AIRCRAFT RESCUE and EXTRICATION TOOL SET and the ORIGINAL AIR CUTTING GUN ™, MODEL C-10 , are each packaged in their own heavy duty storage boxes which may be sealed or locked to ensure content security. The ALUMINIZED RESCUE BLANKET, Model M-1 comes with its own protective case. A detailed Operation and Maintenance Manual and a video are included with each set.
