EXTRICATOR RS-4, 10 TON AIRCRAFT RESCUE TOOLS
The Extricator® RS-4, 10-TON AIRCRAFT RESCUE TOOLS, AND EXTRICATION TOOL SET is an entirely self-contained set of hydraulic rescue tools designed to meet the demands of aircraft rescue and vehicle extrication. The set's ability to provide up to 10 tons of self-contained power in compact spaces without the need for external power generation equipment.
When minutes count, this hydraulic rescue tool set will facilitate fast and efficient rescue operations by pushing or spreading entrapping materials. The straight ram, ram toes, hydraulic spreader, and hydraulic wedge will move or lift heavy objects, move obstructions, and raise collapsed metal or structures. The BOSS Tool provides 6 tons of spreading power at the closed tips, with the force increasing as the tips open. The 10-ton straight ram, with a 6” stroke, is used with 5-inch, 10-inch, 18-inch, and 30-inch heavy wall high-strength extension tubes and attachments to provide powerful lifting and spreading force where needed. The spreaders and hydraulic ram may be operated underwater.
The H-1T-10 hand pumps utilize an internal pressure relief valve to provide overload protection, complying with ANSI/ASME B30.1 safety standards. The new pumps incorporate a convenient two-speed design, which offers reliability and speed in challenging rescue applications. The new two-stage design has a 1st stage that provides 200 PSI and a second stage that produces 10,000 PSI. The two-stage high-flow design of the H1T-10 pump reduces handle strokes, providing more rapid tool operation. The fill port has been relocated to the top of the reservoir to the rear of the new carrying handle, and a larger redesigned hydraulic fluid control valve is provided for easy operation while wearing gloves. The more extended pump handle with an ergonomic grip has been integrated into the design to reduce the operator's required pumping force.
For those applications where corrosion or weight are considerations, the optional Model H-1T-A-10 aluminum pump provides similar performance, size, and features while weighing in at a mere 9 lbs. is available.
The tools and hoses are equipped with new high-pressure, high-flow fittings matched to the increased flow of the H-1T-10 pump and dust caps to keep dirt out of the fittings when a tool is not in use.
The wedge-type spreader is a compact 3/8" at the closed tips, opening to a full 4". It is designed to break open structural components, open a hole for the larger spreader, or work with the wedge when additional prying force is necessary. The hydraulic spreader is 3/4" at the tips and opens to over 12". The straight ram provides 10 tons of lifting and spreading capacity. The straight ram is provided with a variety of attachments designed to provide spreading or lifting options ranging all the way from 3/4" to 48"

AIR CHISEL
The AIR CUTTING GUN™ SET, MODEL C-10A, is the "original" air chisel designed for rescue and is included in this aircraft rescue set to provide easy, rapid cutting of sheet metal, aluminum, and steel plates up to ¼” thick. The C-10A Air Cutting Gun may be operated from any SCUBA or SCBA air cylinder with pressures from 2250 P.S.I to 6000 P.S.I. or any air cylinder equipped with a CGA valve without the need to adjust the regulator.
The C-10A model number designates the additional chisels provided with this aircraft rescue set.

RESCUE BLANKET
The Rescue Blanket™, Model M-1, is the "original" heavy-duty, reusable, aluminum-infused Flame Resistant Rescue Blanket. The M-1 Rescue Blanket is Made in America, using the finest heavy-duty aluminum-infused, rip-stop Para-aramid (Kevlar) fabric. This blanket is designed to provide years of reliable service.
The Rescue Blanket’s large size, 72” x 80” (182 cm x 203 cm), nominal size is constructed of aluminum infused heavy duty, fire resistant 8.5 oz. Rip-stop Para-aramid material with double layers of aluminum infused into the Para-aramid fabric. The aluminum-infused fabric can’t be beaten for its heat reflection in a flash fire. Glass shards, metal chips, saw sparks, and debris are repelled by the M-1 Rescue Blanket, providing high protection for the victim during the rescue operation.
The Aluminized Rescue Blanket, Model M-1, has a heavy-duty protective storage case constructed of water-repelling rubberized nylon fabric. The storage case is designed to keep the blanket clean and dry while protecting the shiny, aluminized surface from damage during storage.

The FUEL LINE PLUG SET™, Model F-2, consists of soft and hard wood plugs supplied in assorted sizes ranging from 1/8” to 1½” in diameter. It provides the equipment needed to completely seal broken fuel and hydraulic lines, leaking pipes, and tanks with openings ranging in size from 1/8" to 1-1/2" in diameter.
