AIR PUMPS
The H-82 Air pump will operate all single-acting hydraulic cylinders using an integral foot or hand-operated treadle valve. The treadle valve on the base model pump provides a "power on" position, a "power off" position, and a "center lockout" position to prevent pressure bleed-off-82 utilizes a 4-way valve assembly (shown above), allowing the pump to operate dual-acting cylinders. The 4-way valve may be hand or foot-operated, like the treadle valve; moving the operating lever in one direction provides power to one side of a double-acting cylinder. Moving the valve in the other direction provides power to the opposite side of the dual-acting cylinder, and the center position prevents flow to the cylinder while acting as a safety to avoid inadvertent operation in the opposite direction.
The pump's 97.6 cubic inch oil reservoir is constructed of cast aluminum and powder-coated to prevent corrosion. The reservoir and valve body are strong, lightweight, and exceptionally corrosion-resistant. The large 11-1/2" by 4-3/4" footprint provides excellent stability even on uneven surfaces.
Air and hydraulic pumps have an inlet air pressure operating range of 40 P.S.I. to 170 P.S.I. while providing 10,000 P.S.I. of hydraulic pressure at a rate of 13.1 cubic inches per minute. The pump's factory-set internal pressure relief valve provides overload protection when meeting ANSI/ASME B310.1 Safety Standards.
Air consumption is a low 10 C.F.M. @ 90 P.S.I. The exhaust from this pump is clean, breathable air, making it ideal for use in confined space operations, hazardous environments, and underwater. Our factory-preset high-pressure air regulators are designed to operate from any compressed air supply cylinder equipped with a CGA valve, with a supply pressure ranging from 300 P.S.I. to 6,000 P.S.I. without requiring any adjustment!
Both the single-acting and dual-acting pumps have a convenient folding carrying handle. The pump is easily operated using either hand or foot pressure with a treadle or lever control valve. Each valve system is supplied with a Center Off, “no flow” position. The center-off position is designed to hold hydraulic pressure even when the air supply is disconnected. It is ideal for rescue, construction, and industrial applications utilizing single or dual-acting ram cylinders of The “BOSS” Tool™ or The Land Shark Cutter™.
