This unique 10-ton Aircraft Rescue Set has the ability to provide large amounts of power in compact spaces utilizing hand operated hydraulic pumps. The “BOSS” spreader combines jaws with only ¾ of an inch thickness when closed with a large 10 square inch pushing surface. The “BOSS” will move or lift articles, obstructing access, collapsed metal or structures exerting up to 12,000 pounds of force at the closed tips. With this set you facilitate fast and efficient rescue operations by pushing or spreading entrapping materials. In addition to the powerful “BOSS” hydraulic spreader, a hydraulic ram with separate pump, air and hand tools are included in this set. A 10-ton straight ram, with 6” stroke is used with 5 inch, 10 inch, 18 inch and 30 inch extension tubes and attachments to provide powerful force application where needed.

The all new, completely redesigned H1T steel pump’s design provides reliability in tough rescue applications and new features to provide ease of operation for many years. The new high flow design of the H1T pump reduces handle strokes while providing more rapid tool operation and a larger hydraulic fluid reservoir. The hydraulic reservoir fill port has been relocated to the top of the reservoir for easy refilling. The internal pressure relief valve provides overload protection, complying with ANSI/ASME B30.1 safety standards. This new pump also incorporates a convenient carrying handle and a new larger control valve designed for easy operation while wearing gloves. A longer pump handle with ergonomic grip has been integrated into the design to reduce the pumping force application required by the operator.

The aluminized fire resistant rescue blanket is ideal for protecting victims from saw sparks, metal chips, and sharp debris. Flash fire and radiant heat protection are provided when the victim is securely wrapped in the aluminized blanket with all the corners tucked under the victim, so there are no voids. The blanket affords maximum protection by reflecting the heat. The aluminized blanket should be kept clean and shiny and stored in its protective case when not in use.

The hand tools included in this kit are designed to provide rescue personnel with the commonly needed tools to rapidly affect rescue from an aircraft, vehicle or other entrapment situation.

This tool kit includes a lockable/sealable heavy duty 16 gage metal storage box measuring 31” long, 11” wide, 11 ½” high with a 2” deep tray mounted 3 11/16” down from the top.
